Life is a real competition

Life is like a competition. The competition consists of a lot of games with different size. There are mini games, intermediate games, and big games. Every game has its challenges and tricks. They are not just a game that we can win by doing nothing. Perhaps, we can win some games with some helps. However, mostly, we should consider to use manners or rational egoism. People say that kindness could defeat everything. Honestly, I do not think it will work to every situation in life since people may misuse our kindness that leads to prevent us to enjoy life. Therefore, in certain circumstances, I have chosen rational egoism as my reaction. I am whatever I am. I will give my kindness in right situation and time. No one can force me to do it. Because, for me, if someone asked you to do something that can makes you annoyed and you follow him, you definitely have no control in your own life and you have lost the game.

The Little Thing

People say that when this little thing runs to you, the world is going to be amazingly beautiful. However, I do not understand the reasons. This little thing came to me. It is beautiful, strange, and awful at the same time. I have tried to refuse it because this little thing brings me to the wrong person and situation. I should not own this little thing. But, whenever I think I can delete it, it comes again. Like it has happened tonight. This little thing showed up when I was not ready at all. I am really tired of this little thing.

Grandpa :)

Grandpa, mom always tells me that you were a good man. No, you were a great man. You did care your children. You rarely talked, but you showed it by your actions. Why did you leave before I was born? Mom said that you were waiting for me so bad. But why did you not wait for me? It was only one year until I was existed in this cruel world where I need you as my grandpa. Eventhough I never meet you, I love you from the deepest of my heart. I'm sure, I'll meet you someday. I also hope that I'll get a boyfriend like you :D I miss you, grandpa.

Internship Edition

So, I get an internship for this holiday as an accountant which I didn't expect. Bcs being an accountant in the holiday isn't fun at all, trust me.
For the first time, I used my best clothes and formal black shoes. It was okay with the shoes. So, I tried to use it again this morning. But...it killed my feet. This is the story. I started working at 10 am. But I had come at 9 am. So, I went to the nearest mall and ordered a doughnut. I checked my dirty pants and shoes. When I looked at my feet, oh my goodness, the blood had covered my left heel. I was so shocked. After I cleaned up and ate my doughnut, I went to the restroom and every single step is a torture. At the office, I changed my shoes with sandals (and cleaned my heels again). That shoes are really the beautiful killer.

Let's we talk about the internship.  For the first job, I have to compare two different data. Do you think it's easy? No, at all. I almost gave up. It's extremely tiring. However, I got some new friends. They are funny and kind. Even my boss is looked like my friend. She's like bad but actually, she is super kind.

So this is my first episode of my internship..

My unexpected journey

This holiday, I have to come back home due to no one will sell food. So, I booked a flight at 2.30 on Friday. However, the flight was delayed until 4 pm. It was still okay. But when we arrived at Hongkong. The plane had gone and we were moved to the midnight flight. This was not so funny at all. We were extremely exhausted and wanted to go home asap. Fortunately, we got a $75-restaurant voucher. It's quite big amount. I ordered a set of rice and pork, yoghurt, and an ice tea. Then, I could go around the airport. I love the airport as it provides the branded shops, like Zara, Rolex, Chanel, Burberry, Coach, and Miu Miu. :D

Finally,  it was the time to fly. I was so ready to sleep but gosh, my body was like separated each others because I brought two heavy bags when I went around the airport. I only slept for 3 hours then I (finally) watched 'The Maze Runner'. Oh, I also looked at a lot of stars and a bright moon from the plane for the first time. It was so damn beautiful.

At 5 am, I arrived. My parents picked me up and brought me to McDonald's. So, this is my story about 16 hours journey to go home.

Today is an amazing day. Why? Let me tell you.
So, at Saturday night, there was a conflict among my group. Actually, it's kinda a big problem. But, because of the difference culture, it became a serious problem. I was so frustated. Then, I asked them to meet this evening.

Before I went to church, I was wondering what it would be happened. I prayed a lot at church. Finally,  when I was eating my lunch, they said that they were wrong, so the conflict was done. I felt so happy. However, the next problem is my internet connection. I don't know why I couldn't send the email to the professor. But, it was solved by borrowing my friend's internet.

Now, I'm so freaking tired. I hope I will not face the same problem like this again.

So, winter is coming to town !!!
The weather has been freaking cold since Monday. Even when I looked at the weather forecast, it will be -1 degree Celsius on Friday. Well, it's gonna be a cold December.

It's not insomnia again. I'm waiting for 12am to say happy birthday to my friend.
So, I'm gonna tell about today's Sunday service. The pastor talked about the fruits of Spirit. Although I do not agree with some of his opinions, the preach reminds me to be more humble as a Christian.  I know that I have been saved by God, but I still have to take attention to how I live based on the fruits of spirit.

After service, we usually have group fellowship. I failed to fulfill my promise to speak out my opinion. Fortunately, my leader didn't ask me to pray before we went home.

Then, I went to market to buy a sweater for my friend. Haha. The sweater is so damn beautiful. I really like it. I hope that my friend will love it.

So, this is my blog for today. And tomorrow is December! That means I can eat normally again after being poor for days.

I've just come back from the city. I accompanied my friend to buy a new laptop. We went to 3 different stores but those stores are not close each other. Also, I bought 1.3 L soap, 500 ml conditioner, and 4 boxes of crackers. As you can imagine that it was extremely exhausted. So, I think I will go nowhere for this weekend and go to sleep. Sleeping is the best way to enjoy my weekend, 因为我爱睡觉! 哈哈。

It's 1.30 a.m.

Well, I've just finished my night class of Organizational Behavior.  At the first time, I thought that this class would be so damn boring, because it was an intensive class (so, we only studied for 1 week). But, it was quite fun and I learn some things from this class.

At the first day, we had to make groups for a group assignment. However, this assignment requires to do some interviews with local people. We had negotiated with the lecturer whether we can do interviews with Indonesian or not. And...we failed (of course). The lecturer suggested us to join with local students. We were so worried due to the fact that we didn't know anybody and their culture. But, it isn't a problem now.

Personally, I like this idea. I feel like I'm challenged and I also want to know more about the local culture, how they cooperate with us, and their daily behavior. I and my Indonesian friend join a group with 3 amazing girls. They've worked, but unlike other local students, they still want to do the best for the assignment and I'm so happy about this.

I've learned a lot of things from my teammates.  First, I learned how to use QQ. lol. QQ is very useful to chat and share documents. It's a good application. Second, they have strong commitment. Their homes are so far away from the university and they have no much time, but they always come to the class and preview the materials before the class. Next, there's no power distance like I thought before. All of 3 girls are older than me and my friend, even 1 of them will be married soon, but they see us as their friends. They are so funny and kind. I love being with them.

The class has just finished, but I still have a group assignment to do. I hope my group will be a great team.

My Current Ordinary Life

After I had been frustrated for a month of having no access to my favorite website, finally my friend could get the solution. So, here I am.

It is the first time for me to live apart from my lovely parents. I admit that it was so hard to adjust my life with limited money, big expenditures, and some new kinds of food. However, I got some new friends. Fortunately, they are very kind (maybe because we are in the same position, I guess).

At the first day, I ate McDonalds. Not because we really like eat it (yeah, we like it so much, actually), but because we had no idea thus we couldn't speak Chinese! Nonetheless, the food is much better than Indonesia's. On the next days, we managed a lot of things in order to stay here. It was very exhausted yet fun, like we can get closer into each other.

As a postgraduate student, I do not have a mid term test (yay), but I have 3 assignments to do. It's only three. However, I can do all the assignments like for years. It's very hard to finish all in time. Now, after a month, I've just finished 1 group assignments which is "the easiest" one. So, welcome to postgraduate life.

The other change in my life is I learn more to manage my time and money due to the fact that I can't depend on my parents to provide me food, clothes, transportation, and others. I have to do all things by myself, dependently. It's not easy at all since I do not expect that some things here are more expensive than Indonesia, like shampoo and soap. I was getting shocked when I bought them. I know that it will be beyond my this month's financial target. I have talked to my parents and I felt guilty. But, I determine to save my money more in the following months.

Finally, it's my current ordinary life. Well, I hope I can enjoy it for the next 2 years.

Hours

I (finally) watched Hours yesterday. This movie is one of the best movies I've ever watched!! It's very touching and inspiring. Hours is one of the last movie that played by Paul Walker. The movie is about the struggle of a father to keep his newborn daughter alive in the midst of Katrina storm when everybody leave them in the hospital with no electricity. I cannot tell how amazing the story is with words.

Paul Walker should win awards for this movie. His acting was so amazing. If only Paul Walker had not died, I believe he would smile and be satisfied with this movie.

Paul Walker is truly an angel

"Paul Walker was best known for his action-packed films, but many are remembering the late actor, who died on Saturday in a fiery car crash, as a big softie with a huge heart. 

During the holiday season several years ago, the "Fast & Furious" actor walked into Bailey Banks and Biddle Jewelers in Santa Barbara, California, and, according to sales associate Irene King, what happened next was practically out of a feel-good Hollywood movie.

King told CBS Los Angeles that an associate nudged her and said, “There’s Paul Walker.”

“Oh, OK, yeah,” King replied with a smile. “I said, ‘Yeah, he’s a nice-looking man.’”

Walker was browsing for bling at the same time as a soldier who had just finished his first tour of duty in Iraq, and was looking at engagement rings with his fiancée.

King posted the story on the 40-year-old actor's Facebook page, among thousands of other anecdotes where people remembered him as "generous," "loving," and with a "heart of pure gold." Walker was a dedicated supporter of charities like the Billfish Foundation, and could always be counted on to raise funds for those in need. He founded his own organization, Reach Out Worldwide, after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. 

"To do something like that to a perfect stranger is just unbelievable,” King said. 

In this case, it appears that Paul Walker's generosity shined brighter than any diamond."

We all know that we will die, but we do not know when and how.

Today, my favorite actor, Paul Walker, died. He was killed in fiery car crash with his friend, Roger Rodas, in Santa Clarita. They were in Porsche GT when the car crashed into a tree and burned.  They'd just left from Walker's organization event. Walker has a charity organization called Reach Out Worldwide. He loves doing charity (until his death).

So, the world will miss Walker's beautiful eyes, his kindness, and also his great acting. Everybody said that his death was too soon. Yes, I agree with that. He died at 40. Still young. I cannot imagine how hurt the heart of her only daughter, Meadow, and his girlfriend are.

Not only Walker, Roger Rodas also died at 38. A young man who has an amazing 8-year-old boy. The little boy ran away to help his father out from the damn car. It was very touching moment.

Rest in peace, Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. My prayers and thoughts go to your family and you will always be remembered.

The last letter from Jonas Brothers

To Our Dear Friends and Fans Around the World

It is with heavy hearts that we confirm that our time as the Jonas Brothers is over. This decision has not come lightly, and we know that many of you will be disappointed. The time has come for us to move forward on individual career paths. We have been a band of brothers for 10 years and are now choosing simply to be brothers. Going forward, you can expect exciting things from each of us, and we will of course continue to support each other in all things.

We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported and inspired us through the years, and stood by us in this difficult decision. We feel and appreciate your love. Because you waited so long for new music, we want to honor our Team Jonas fan club members by giving you our final album. This digital-only album contains four new studio recordings that would have appeared on our V album (which will now go unreleased). In addition, we're including 10 live tracks that we feel capture the energy and excitement of this past summer's tour. Details regarding delivery of this digital album to Team Jonas members will be issued shortly. We hope you enjoy this album as much as we've enjoyed performing for you over the last 10 years.
